Hope on the Rise, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. Contributions are tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law. No goods or services are provided in exchange for donations unless otherwise noted. Hope on the Rise is a volunteer-managed organization, and donations support our programs and retreat operations.

  • A. Hope on the Rise is a 501(c)(3) non-profit, tax exempt organization under the 501(c)(3) section of the IRS. Your contribution may be tax deductible. Please seek advise from your accountant for details.

  • A. We’re very proud of the fact that Hope on the Rise is managed, and retreats are facilitated 100% by volunteers. This makes our organization unique from many. Your contribution opens the door for women to attend one of our retreats at absolutely no cost. Hope on the Rise provides all meals, accommodations, fly fishing equipment, instruction, etc. at no cost to our participants. Contributions also support promotional efforts, participant outreach, organizational compliance (registration with Secretary of State and good stuff like that), and supplies. We have no paid staff, no physical office, no stipends. We are fortunate to have a team of amazingly talented volunteers who manage the organization and facilitate our retreats. Period.

  • A. YES! We accept checks and cash donations. We pay fees for the ability to receive fund from credit cards, so we love and prefer to receive checks.

  • A. Yes! Hope on the Rise is entirely volunteer managed, and we welcome people who would like to support our mission. Volunteers help in many ways, including assisting at retreats, guiding participants on the water, helping with event logistics, preparing meals, and supporting behind-the-scenes work such as communications and outreach. We also welcome partnerships with local anglers, outdoor organizations, and community members who want to contribute their time or expertise. If you’re interested in getting involved, please reach out through our contact page—we’d love to hear from you.

  • A. Yes. Hope on the Rise gratefully accepts in-kind donations that help support our retreats and participants. These may include fly-fishing equipment, outdoor gear, retreat supplies, food, services, or other items that help us create a welcoming and comfortable experience for participants. In-kind contributions from individuals, businesses, and community partners play an important role in making our retreats possible.
